Currently enrolled in or graduated from a relevant university or college program

Strong knowledge of at least one subject: English, math, science, or social studies

Strong knowledge of the Alberta curriculum for the subjects and grade levels selected

Ability to plan lessons that align with Alberta curriculum outcomes
-
Clear, patient, and professional communication skills

Ability to teach concepts, provide homework support, and use Campus Mentors assignments, activities, and assessments
-
Ability to independently prepare for and manage tutoring sessions
-
Reliable, organized, and consistent when communicating with families and Campus Mentors
-
Able to provide proof of current enrolment or graduation
-
Legally eligible to work in Canada

Willing to complete reference screening
Preferred
-
Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring, childcare, or youth leadership experience
-
Experience supporting students with different learning styles or learning needs
-
Access to reliable transportation for in-person tutoring
-
Ability to provide both online and in-person tutoring
Previous tutoring experience is an asset but is not required. Guidance, training, and academic resources will be provided by Campus Mentors.
